Partners Dictionary Project Kansas City
would not exist without the enthusiastic support of the Partners. We ask for community support in three different ways.1. We look for partners
who want to support a school by underwriting the cost as well as furnishing volunteers to present the dictionaries to the kids. Approximately half of the schools we visit are served this way. ($185 will supply dictioanies for any school.)
2. We look for sponsors
to underwrite the cost of furnishing dictionaries to schools that are not otherwise sponsored. (This option works great for foundations and companies with money but no time.) 3. And we look for
volunteers to make in-class presentations to those schools that are not otherwise sponsored. Each June, as the school year is ending, we offer our partners and donors the opportunity to sponsor the
same schools as before. And every year, they seem to return. As of the October 1st,, these are the companies and organizations that have agreed to underwrite the cost of dictionaries forkids in our
community. And we are thankful for the many sponsors who have returned year after year, with a special thanks to those who have been with us from the beginning. |

Our major sponsors for 2011-2012 |
 |
 |
|
Tony Richardson
was our first major supporter. And although over the years he has moved from the Chiefs to the Minnesota Vikings and now to the New York Jets, his dedication to the Dictionary Project has remained steadfast. We are delighted to welcome his major financial support for another year, and excited that he has planted his enthusiasm for kids and dictionaries in the communities where he has played.

Tony's quiet, solid on-field work is matched by his off-field work. He continues to partner with us, and continues his interest in
Special Olympics Athletes in Action and Harvest Church, and the City Union Mission. In Kansas City. |
 |
 |
|
And Tony's involvement with the community has not stopped in Kansas City. As soon as he settled into the uniform of the
Vikings, his enthusiasm and financial support helped found a dictionary project in the Minneapolis - St. Paul area. And now, with his move to the New York Jets, he is doing the same in East Rutherford
New Jersey. Thanks, Tony, for all your good work and best wishes for a successful season to come. |

Kansas City area. This foundation is the culmination of that desire. Since Kathryn's passing in June 2006, her son and granddaughter continue to strive to provide service to the greater KC area. Thanks
to the children and grandchildren of Edward and Kathryn Mader for their continued encouragement and support. |
